Acceptable Use Policy

Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to everyone who accesses Spike Console, including through the console applications, the developer API, and the Partner Program, and forms part of our Terms of Service. It exists to keep the platform safe and reliable for every business that depends on it.

Prohibited activities

You must not use the Services to:

• Break any applicable law, including data protection, financial, or employment law that applies to the records you keep in the console
• Attempt to access another business's workspace, account, or data without authorisation, or probe, scan, or test the security of the platform without our prior written permission
• Scrape, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the platform, except where permitted by law
• Upload or transmit malware, or any content that infringes someone else's rights or is defamatory, obscene, or unlawful
• Use AI-assisted features to generate content that is illegal, deceptive, or intended to harass or harm another person or business
• Send spam or unsolicited bulk messages to other users through any notification, invite, or messaging feature
• Impersonate another person or business, or misrepresent your affiliation with one

API and developer platform use

If you use the developer API, you must not:

• Share, publish, or allow others to use your API key
• Attempt to bypass, evade, or exceed rate limits or usage quotas through automated workarounds
• Resell or sublicense API access to a third party without our written consent
• Use the API to build a product that directly competes with Spike Console using data or access obtained through it

Partner Program conduct

If you participate in the Partner Program as a service partner, you must not:

• Misrepresent your qualifications, the services you offer, or the status of a service request
• Submit fraudulent service requests, invoices, or payout claims
• Use access granted through a service request for any purpose beyond fulfilling that specific request

Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations of this policy and take action we consider appropriate, including warning you, removing content, suspending or terminating access, and, where required, cooperating with law enforcement. We will give notice where reasonably possible, but we may act immediately where we believe there is a risk of harm to the platform or to other users.
