What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website or use a web application. This policy explains which cookies Spike Console sets, why, and how you can control them. It forms part of our Privacy Policy.

Cookies we use

We only use cookies that are strictly necessary for the console to work. All of them are set by us (not by third parties), and all of them stop working, or stop being useful, once you sign out.

• Session cookie: keeps you signed in to your account as you move around the console, so you do not have to re-enter your password on every page.
• CSRF token cookie: a security cookie used to confirm that requests changing your data actually came from you, not from another website acting on your behalf without your knowledge.

Local storage

Separately from cookies, we use your browser's local storage to remember display preferences, such as light or dark mode and whether the sidebar is collapsed. This is not sent to our servers and is only used to make the console feel consistent between visits.

Cookies we do not use

We do not currently use cookies for advertising, cross-site tracking, or third-party analytics. If that changes, we will update this policy and, where required by law, ask for your consent before setting any new non-essential cookie.

Managing cookies

Most browsers let you view, delete, and block cookies through their settings. Because the cookies described above are strictly necessary, blocking them will prevent you from signing in to Spike Console or using the console securely.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
